Yin and Yang pressure point therapy
Yin and Yang pressure point therapy

The therapeutic principle of this treatment is new, but it has its origins in the philosophy of established therapies. I envisioned this concept about six or seven years ago, during long sessions of presopuncture, somatic massage, but also through mixed manual therapy sessions.

The constant quest for innovation has led me to imagine different forms of massage that could be integrated into a single concept. This form of therapy follows the philosophy of another treatment that bears my signature - twin pressure point therapy.

Yin-Yang pressure therapy

This therapy follows the steps of a general body ritual, currently encompassing forms of Swedish massage, Californian, reflexogenpresopuncture, lymphatic drainageas well as other manual therapies - dim-mak, tui-na, amatsu-tatara, anma.

The Yin-Yang couple can be represented as complementary forces that constitute the dynamic infrastructure of the universe. The Yin-Yang philosophy can be the adequate explanation for the changes in the universe, and therefore also in our bodies (the universe reduced to human dimensions).

Referring strictly to the level of the concept I am describing, the therapy consists in applying certain forms of pressure on certain points that I fix on both hemicorps, equidistant. The pressure applied on these points varies from one hemicorp to the other, depending on the tone of each segment to be analyzed, as well as the tension felt in the patient's body.

The application of pressure on each point on the two hemicorps takes place simultaneously, either by repeated movements with the hand, fist, elbows or just by applying forms of massage - effleurage, friction, friction, petrissage, vibration and even tapping - in relation to the tension felt in the body. In this way, they can observe the body's response to external factors much more effectively and personalize the treatment according to the patient's degree of muscular resistance.
