La Diviana Spa, Hotel Bacolux Diana Baile Herculane Baile Herculane

I told you here about my visit to Herculane and pretty much everything I did in the 3 days I stayed there. Aphrodite Resortwith my husband and Edi, my little boy. Here I wrote to you about the first spa ritual - Aphrodite's Ritual, which I did the next morning. After a delicious lunch and a walk around the city, we arrived back at the spa.

But this time at the Diviana SPA in the second Bacolux Hotel in Baile Herculane: Hotel Diana. It is positioned a bit higher than the Afrodita Resort, and, although I have not visited the hotel rooms, I can tell you that at least from the terrace, it looks superb:

I was also very curious to see this Spa, which I knew that all Maria Rendesspa consultant took care of it. But as I hadn't been in Baile Herculane since 2019, I hadn't had the chance to visit it after the modernization works were completed. We started by visiting the spa, chatting with Angela Sovagau - the Operational Manager of the hotel and then returning to Herculum SPA for the inside-out purification ritual in the Argilarium - which I will tell you about in a future article.

But Maria had a surprise in store for me: a spa ritual - a facial this time: Beauty Bath. Why "bath"? You'll understand!

After meeting Yuni, the therapist, she invited me into the treatment room. She came out as I was undressing and the first thing she did when she came in was to check if I was comfortable on the bed.

The ritual starts with a back massage for about 20 minutes to relax. As I did a massage with Suna - which I told you about here - For me it was an extra treat, as therapeutically I was already very well.

Demolition

After the massage she turned me face up, made sure I was comfortable again and that all the towels were where they should be. She washed her hands and started with the makeup. It was warmer outside than I had expected, and the cleansing milk - cooling, applied in circular motions was just what I needed to relax and abandon myself to Yuni's hands.

Gentle exfoliation followed. Somehow, Yuni also managed to make this exfoliation step extremely relaxing. Maria had told me that they would be using Ivatherm products - which contain Herculane thermal water, the only extra added product is white clay for the mask.

Spraying the thermal water over my face and décolleté, after cleansing and exfoliating, comes like a summer rain on a hot day. My skin immediately absorbed the cool spritz and I was already looking forward to the next step.

Aquafil serum followed

My skin, which has been very dry for the past 2 years, absorbed it immediately.

She applied a cream around my eyes and did a short massage. She then creamed the rest of my face and décolleté, and I enjoyed another facial massage.

After that, he applied the mask with a brush

A paste made from kaolin, thermal spring water and Ivatherm Multiperformance Cream. The way it felt, I thought it would be like a cassata at the end, but it wasn't. It looks like this:

While the mask was working, Yuni gave me a super scalp massage

I'll admit that I had Suna in the morning, but I think I could do about as many a day. If my back was completely relaxed, I couldn't say the same for my scalp. My head instinctively seemed to go to her hand and I didn't have the strength to stop it. It was a great massage and, if it were up to me, I would have asked her to leave the mask on my face.

She removed the mask and again, sprayed me with Ivatherm water. I again felt my smile was wide and my complexion was enjoying the new thermal bath.

I knew the ritual was coming to an end. Indeed, she applied my last cream with a gentle massage. Unfortunately, it was short, because my complexion absorbed it immediately. I also felt bad in front of Yuni, who also seemed surprised.  

I had used Ivatherm products a few years ago, but I don't think I found the right ones for my skin type.

Because after this ritual, not only my skin felt elastic and very well moisturized, but Maria also confirmed that my complexion looked totally different, incredibly good. She seemed to be even more surprised than me by the effect of the ritual, even though she was the one who conceived it.

The truth is that after each facial I saw some immediate reactions. For me they were generally anti-aging because that's what I was going for.

But now, to feel my skin texture differently, it was wow

A new confirmation that the mix of products with natural ingredients of the highest quality - thermal water, white clay and everything else they used - combined with exfoliation and relaxing massages: back, facial and scalp - which I enjoyed in the 80 minutes, look like they worked wonders.

And the fact that it is a 100% Romanian experience - local from Baile Herculane, starting from the thermal water, makes me feel even more proud of this ritual that I recommend with all my heart.
